A melange of info for you to know

Happy Monday, April 6th! The team has been going all out to keep our story releases flowing, and we've added daily gift updates as well since we know so many of you are unexpectedly off school for an extended period of time. With so much happening in the game and behind the scenes, we've got a few pieces of news to share.

Daily Login Gift Update

We know a lot of you have had unexpected schedule changes recently as your local communities respond to the COVID-19 outbreak. To help keep your spirits high in this time, we're making sure that when you log into AdventureQuest Worlds, you have even more to do. More rewards to hunt for, quests to complete, and battles to win. Originally, the 0 AC items were going to leave April 17th. Then we pushed that back to the end of April.

But after receiving many messages from our player community letting us know they're unable to log in due to local health/safety measures, we've extending the period that the items will drop. We will announce a revised leave date as situations around the world progress. We want everyone to stay safe, healthy, and #PlayApartTogether.

New ads on the game screen

Want to help the support AdventureQuest Worlds' game development, but don't have the ability to upgrade or buy AdventureCoins? Clicking on the play-now screen ads that you find even a little interesting helps the game stay alive and helps us continue to bring you new adventures and items week after week.

If you log in with a member account or are using the Artix Game Launcher, you will not see the ads by default.

Tier 2 Blademaster Class Update

We know so many of you are excited for the release of our newest class, the tier 2 Blademaster, Yami no Ronin. The farming quests and balance for the class are still in progress. We'll be able to give everyone a better idea for the release date later on this week.

And speaking of classes...

(Re) Introducing... Barber Class! (No Joke)

Hair today, gone tomorrow... and back again! Almost 12 years ago, we launched the Barber Class. It had a unique armor, but the same skills as Rogue Class. It was removed back in 2010 and ever since, we've gotten requests to 1) bring the class back and 2) give it unique skills.

We originally planned to launch the return of the new Barber Class last week, but needed to address several animation issues. As of tonight... those requests have become a reality... in a slightly different form! Find Barber Class in the Class Shop, as well as Bev's shop in Battleontown for 20,401 gold.

For you experienced heroes who still have the original Barber Class (now called Classic Barber), you'll keep your art and rogue-clone skills. Drop a few gold and you can try out the new class's unique skills, then decide which you like better.

If this is your first go-round the barber pole, then you're in luck! Check out the hair-raising skills and animations, enjoy the swanky bowtie on the armor, and cut your opponents down to size!

New story release this Friday: Alliance of Evil, Part 2

Last month, we began a new three-part arc in our main story, Shadows of War, featuring the ShadowLord Malgor and his attemp to ally with the forces of EVIL. Dage was not deceived by Malgor's empty promises, and needed your help to defend his realm. This week, Malgor's focus turns to one of the other three main Evil factions... Nulgath the ArchFiend and his Nation of deadly warriors. Log in this Friday for a dark new adventure, wicked reward items, and a new armor set in the Featured Gear Shop in your game menu.
