Queen's Saga: Realm of Monsters I

New Quests, New Gear, and more!

We've got an AWESOME release lineup for you. Literally! Log in this weekend and /join museum*, then talk to Valencia's cousin, Trissa, to begin your quest to unlock all of the "Ascension of Awe" armor sets.

• Level 100: Awescenion

Each tier gains additional item bonuses, and the Awescension items are color-customizable! Plus, unlock an all-new Epic Hero character page badge once you complete all Trissa's quests.

*Trissa also brought with her the final two Chaos Beast statues for the Museum. Man... it's taken forever to get those carved and mounted!

Fabyo Loso's House of Design

Fans of fashion, rejoice! Fabyo Loso and his little monkey friend, Vogue, are here to make your NPC design dreams come true. /join oasis and find his House of Design. Complete his quests to get fan-favorite NPC gear in his merge and AC shops.

There are so many NPC and monster armors we've released over the last almost-13 years with no way for the heroes of Lore to acquire them... and Fabyo Loso means to fix that. In STYLE! Future updates will feature even more fan-favorite character and monster-themed outfits and items.

IoDA Item Update

Many of our end-game farming items like Void HighLord and Sepulchure's DoomKnight armor unlock character page badges.

Redeeming an IoDA (item of digital awesomeness) for one of these items will not unlock the character page badge. To help avoid confusion and bug reports, we've added the (IoDA) tag to the versions of the end-game farming items awarded through the IoDA reward system.

This Weekend: HeroSmash X AQWorlds

Introducing... the Invasion of Super Death!

Log in this weekend, because it's time to GET SMASHIN'! We've brought character, monster, reward, and background art straight from our second 2D MMO, HeroSmash, into AdventureQuest Worlds so you can battle through our very own version of the Trials of SuperDeath.

SuperDeath is HeroSmash's very own version of OUR Death. A few years back, in the HeroSmash universe, he sent HeroSmash heroes through a rigorous gauntlet, as he was trying to decide if he wanted to be a hero or a villain. (Turns out being an immortal superbeing makes you want to be on your own side and take over the world!) 

 We managed to stop him then, and ever since, he's staye in his own Shadow Realm. Until now... This weekend, /join superdeath to begin your adventure:

• Battle monsters from HeroSmash sent by SuperDeath into OUR world
• Work with ArcticKiller to defeat some of HeroSmash's deadliest creatures and free his friends from SuperDeath's control
• REAP the rewards once you've defeated SuperDeath!

Class Changes for April 16, 2020

Health Cost Skills

Skills that cost a percentage of max health (except for skills that do direct self damage) will now leave the player at 1 HP instead of killing them. This should fix disconnection issues.

Frostval Barbarian

Frostval Gifts: -HoT is now static

Nechronomancer

'Although health cost skills no longer kill the player, Nechronomancer still provides a frustrating experience for many. These changes introduce a more forgiving health cost mechanic while still keeping its performance levels around the same as before.'

Mortification:

-Cooldown: 1.5 seconds > 2 seconds
-Necrosis DoT is now static

Bleeding Time:

  -No longer costs a percentage of max HP
-Passage of Time now applies a self DoT that stacks to 100
-Passage of Time duration: 8 seconds > 4 seconds
-Eternal Frenzy stack limit: 9 > 15

ShadowScythe's Past:

-Increased the delay for the Unleashed Doom DoT tick (now 2 skills can be used before it ticks)
-Damage of Unleashed Doom adjusted to compensate

ShadowScythe's Future:

-Empress's Awakening now also removes stacks of Passage of Time
-Slowed Reflexes now also reduces Hit Chance by 20%
-Deteriorating Sight aura has been removed

Triple Update Weekend

Grenwog and Earth Day Return + Adam1a1's Birthday

Every year, heroes hunt around Battleon for eggs and prizes, and battle the deadly, egg-sucking Grenwog as we celebrate the return of Spring! This weekend talk to Cabdury (the friendliest, most inedible bunny in town) to begin this year's Egg Hunt quests in Battleon.

The legendary Grenwog is one of the fiercest beasts on Lore. Each spring, it awakens with one thing on its mind -- FOOD. And its favorite snack is, of course, eggs! (And the heroes who try to steal them. So beware!)

BattleOn Town Egg Hunt

Collect the eggs hidden around BattleOn and the rest of the town to unlock the Backpack of Eggs and the Vorpal Bunny pet! (Note: Any Vorpal Bunny will be able to access the quests to get this year's regular Berserker Bunny items. Enjoy!) 

Once you've collected all those, why not try Cabdury's Treat Hunt to unlock the Evolved Berserker Bunny set? The merge items will drop from the bosses in Greenguard Forest.  With an Armor, a Helm, a Spear, and a Long-sword, you'll have a bun-tiful amount of items to choose from! The Evolved Berserker Bunny Armor also requires the drop from the final Vorpal Bunny quest.

Cross-Lore Egg Hunt

After whetting your detection skills in BattleOn, TRUE eggsplorers can talk to Cabdury and decipher his clues to find the pink, green, blue, purple, or multicolored eggs hidden around the rest of Lore to unlock even more rewards: the Steampunk Eggsplorer set!

A few months back, Captain Rhubarb began working with the team, testers, and players on Twitter to get feedback on improving the account manager and guild system in-game. Our quest to keep leveling up the game and respond to your suggestions and ideas continues this week... with a FREE GIFT for all Guild Leaders!

Starting tonight, we are giving a free Guild Rename Coupon to all 50,000+ active Guild Leaders.

So if you've been sitting on a typo in your Guild Name and haven't been able to fix it, or just feel like it's time for a change... this is the gift you've been looking for!

How to use the Coupon

Guild Leaders, once you see your Guild Rename Coupon in your inventory...

1. Log into your account manager
2. Click on the Guilds tab on the left hand menu
3. Click the Rename Guild button. The Guild Rename cost will be free.

Important Notes

• Guild Leaders will get one free Rename Coupon. Future name changes will cost 1,000 ACs like normal.
• Player Support cannot change or reverse your guild name, fix typos, or take a guild name from one guild and add it onto another.
• You MUST use the account site to use the Guild Rename Coupon. It will not work in-game.
• The changed guild name may not show up in game until all the members of the guild re-login to the game.

Unlock the Bio-War Cultist Set

Available every year from April 1st - 30th

April is the month of WAR! The world of Lore is never peaceful for long... and the battles that lie ahead of you are only going to get more intense. Embrace your fate (and a future full of combat... literally*). This month's seasonal set will outfit you for the coming conflict: the Bio-War Cultist.

* The Goddess will be pleased. She favors her devoted Cultists.

April Set: Bio-War Cultist

Starting April 1st at 12:01 AM EST (that's server time), unlock the Bio-War Cultist and War Cultist armors and all their accessories!**

There are two ways to get the gear:

1) Total package: Buy the entire set directly through the website for $9.99 USD 

2) Individually: Buy each of the individual pieces from Garek the Traveling Gear Merchant in Battleon.

The total cost to buy all of the gear individually is 4,000 ACs, so getting all the gear from the pack is a pretty sweet deal (you save 2,000 ACs).

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as an upgrade bonus? 

Upgrade bonus gear is an extra reward for buying AdventureCoin or Membership packages; new bonus gear comes out roughly every month. Seasonal set packs are bought separately. Just like the Flame Dragon Warrior pack, you can buy the entire set directly, for one price, on our site. You can ALSO buy the individual pieces in-game.

This set will return EVERY April, so if you can't get it now, you'll have another chance in upcoming years.

What if I just want ONE of the items?

You're in luck! Talk to Garek in Battleon. He'll be selling the individual pieces of the set through April 30th.

Where do I get my gear if I buy the full set through the website?

You'll find it in your Book of Lore.
