7 Deadly Dragons Epilogue

The Mysterious Egg Opens!

There are 7 deadly vices -- Wrath, Envy, Pride, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, and Greed -- and 7 Great Dragons that embody them. In June of 2017, Galanoth and the Order of DragonSlayers asked for your help to cleanse our world of their terror. We were left with a very Mysterious Egg, but no way to discover what lived inside or why it was locked away... until tonight. Once you've completed the 7 Deadly Dragons Saga and opened the Heptagonal Chest, talk to LoreMaster Maya in /mysteriousegg to begin your quest to hatch it.

After you complete LoreMaster Maya's quests, unlock a shop with the 0 AC Shadow Dragon's Defender set!

Open the Heptagonal Chest: Collect the 7 Deadly Keys 

Deep under the town of Battleon (/join battleundere), a Draconic Oracle breathes in the fumes of inspiration and divination. He will also direct you to find the Heptagonal Chest. He believes it holds an object that will help you towards your destiny, but cannot be sure. Defeat all seven of the Deadly Dragons to open the chest, and unlock the Elemental DragonSlayer set and the Mysterious Mana Egg pet!

7 Deadly Dragons Saga Guide

Before you can unlock a prize, you have to battle to EARN it! Complete the 7 Deadly Dragons Saga to start tonight's update.

Ashfall Camp: /Join Ashfallcamp and talk to Galanoth to learn about the 7 Deadly Dragons you must defeat.

• Quest for QuarterMaster Senna to stock the camp
• Defend Ashfall with Gibbs
• Learn Draconic Lore with DragonSlayer Loremaster Dedara*
• and talk to Galanoth to slay three fiery dragons with Galanoth as you warm-up for the adventures ahead!

Glutus, Dragon of Gluttony (/join gluttony)

Glutus, Dragon of Gluttony, has terrorized men — especially DragonSlayers — for far too long. NO DragonSlayer has managed to survive bathe with him, and Galanoth is making this bathe personal. After years of gorging, and eating thousands of heroes, knights, and 'Slayers, it's time for Glutus to go on a DIE-t!

Valsarian, Dragon of Pride (/join pride)

For millennia, dragons were the greatest creatures on Lore… until humans came. Until DragonSlayers came. Battle to save Darkmoor Village, the first town Valsarian's Storm Drakel army has conquered as he begins his press to turn humans into slaves... and Dragons into KINGS! 

Goregold, the Dragon of Greed (/join greed)

Dragons invade, kill, and most importantly --they hoard. Each dragon guards a vast treasure trove of gold, gems, and priceless artifacts... all very, very tempting for any thieves foolish enough to risk their wrath. But when evidence appears of a rogue DragonSlayer stealing from dragon hoards for his own benefit, Galanoth needs your help to uncover the truth.

Phlegnn, the Dragon of Sloth (/join sloth)

Dragons. Zombies. Creepy slime creatures. Its easy to fight monsters you can see. The real danger, however, is an invisible sickness spreading through the village of Gisunt Heights. Lim the Scientist has traced the outbreak to its source. Take out Phlegnn, Slime Dragon of Sloth and fine a cure for the plague before it spreads beyond the quarantine zone!

Lascivia, the Dragon of Lust (/join lust)

Deep inside a fortress, hidden from sight and out of reach of the family who would seek to reclaim them... Lascivia, Dragon of Lust feasts and frolics and delights in the antics of the kidnapped, enchanted princes and princesses - her royal horde hoard!  Battle to aid Princess Cecily in her quest to free her fiance and rescue the other members of Lascivia's Hoard'em!

Maloth, the Dragon of Envy (/join dragoncrown)

Dragons of all elements and races know the legend of the Dragon Crown - only one worth of ruling ALL dragonkind can wear it. Most assumed it was just a myth... until now. Maleth, the Darkness Dragon of Envy, wants the crown. YOU need to stop him from getting it.

Gorgorath, the Dragon of Wrath (/join Wrath)

While searching for the treasure of Evil Eye Grim, Captain Rhubarb awakened the mighty undead dragon, Gorgorath. Now, to protect your friend, you'll need to take on Gorgorath's horde of minions!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as an upgrade bonus? 

Upgrade bonus gear is an extra reward for buying AdventureCoin or Membership packages; new bonus gear comes out roughly every month. Seasonal set packs are bought separately. Just like the Flame Dragon Warrior pack, you can buy the entire set directly, for one price, on our site. You can ALSO buy the individual pieces in-game.

This set will return EVERY June, so if you can't get it now, you'll have another chance in 2020, or 2021, or 2022, etc.

If this isn't a new upgrade bonus, what IS the next bonus?

You can see all the available upgrade bonuses on our upgrade site. The next bonus set will be available soon, so keep an eye on the Design Notes!

Shadows of War: Pirate Queen's Favor

The ShadowLord is coming to collect

Last week, we survived and encounter with Teja the Pirate Queen. She is one of the fierce, independent warriors Malgor has recruited to his side, but in restoring her lost crew, we've won a favor. A SMALL favor. She will not turn you in to collect the ShadowLord's bounty, but there's plenty of treachery to go around. This weekend, fight to stay alive and uncaptured as Pirate Queen Teja's crew shows their true colors... and go after the ShadowLord's real prize!

The story so far...

After Malgor the Shadowlord failed to recruit you into his Army, tried to imprison you, AND accused you of killing the Queen of Monsters, two things became very clear. HE cannot be trusted and YOU need to take action against him.  FAST.

The Queen of Monsters seemed content to let her children and allies wreak havoc in her name. But Malgor is actively recruiting people to take over our world. And ALL the worlds.  That means we need to start gathering our allies and power now, and preventing him from doing the same.

You have already added Varga, Goddess of War, to your party, and reawakened a small part of your power again. But you will need to hone it further before you will be able to reach all of the people we need.  Last week, we began the quest for our next ally -- Teja, the Pirate Queen of the southern seas.

Become a Legion Revenant

The Tier 2 Dark Caster Class is HERE

Back in March, we announced a Tier 2 version of the Dark Caster Class. Since then, Pisces and the class balancec team have been hard at work crafting a class worthy of the Undead Legion (among all of their other balance, testing, and planning contributions). The Legion Revenant Class is dark, powerful, and fit for the Legion's most loyal and mighty warriors. 

If you are a member of the Undead Legion AND have any of the Dark Caster Classes, you can /join revenant to begin the quest to create the Legion Revenant Class. 

For those of you in the Undead Legion that did NOT get the Infinite Dark Caster Class for Legion Tokens, you're in Luck! We've added the Class back to the Undead Legion Merge Shop this weekend as a special gift from Dage the Evil. (Will he add it to the shop permanently?... wait and see!)

Legion Revenant Quest Details

Legion Revenant farming quests will resemble the old Legion Exercise quests-- the balance team has crunched numbers and has one things to say...  Are you willing to slay a legion for the Legion?

• Talk to the Legion Revenant in /revenant to begin his quests
• Legion Fealty 1: Slay monsters in /revenant, /shadowrealmb, and /necrodungeon to get the Revenant's Spellscroll (requires Rank 10 Evil)
• Legion Fealty 2: Take out other undead factions across Lore to get the Conquest Wreath (requires level 80)
• Legion Fealty 3: Collect Dage's Favor, Emblems of Dage, Dark Tokens, Legion Tokens, and more to earn the Exalted Crown
• Legion Fealty 4: Turn in the Revenant's Spellscroll x20, Conquest Wreath x6, and Exalted Crown x10 to unlock the Legion Revenant Class

Recommended enhancement: Wizard.

Mana Regeneration

Tier 2 Dark Casters regain mana from all hits landed in combat, more if it's a critical strike. The amount of mana regained is based on the amount of damage done relative to their own HP total.

Description: A sinister spell that blasts up to three enemies with powerful dark energy. Deals moderate damage to one target and light damage to two additional targets.

Note: Deals 100% spell damage to primary target and 66% spell damage to two secondary targets, hits up to 3 targets from a long range

Atramentous Shade

Rank Needed: 1
Mana Cost: 25 Mana
Cooldown: 6 Seconds
Type: Magical
Description: Summon a malicious pitch black fog to shroud up to three moderately ranged enemies, applying Decay for 2 seconds and a strong damage over time effect. The darkness traps your enemy, decreasing their dodge by 25% for 12 seconds. Always crits and can’t miss.

Note: Deals 75% spell damage to primary target and 50% spell damage to two other targets. Applies Consumed to the enemy, decreasing dodge chance by 25% and applying a strong DoT. Also applies Decay to the targets. Always hit, always crit. All effects last 12 seconds, except Decay which lasts 2 seconds.

Wicked Purgatory

Description: Conjure otherworldly flames that sear one target for moderate damage, reducing their crit chance by 15%. The flames protect you, decreasing incoming damage by 20%. Both effects last 12 seconds and increase by 3% and 4% respectively with each use for up to 5 stacks.

Note: Deals 50% spell damage to primary target. Applies Seared to targets, decreasing crit chance by 4% (stacks to 10). Applies Enveloped to the caster, decreasing all in by 4% per stack. All effects last 12 seconds.

Depraved Empowerment

Type: Magical
Description: Touch the darkness within yourself and up to six friendly targets by drawing out their twisted inclinations, increasing their dodge chance, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, outgoing physical damage, and outgoing magical damage by 30% for 12 seconds. Immorality strengthens your magic, increasing your Haste by 10% and applying a strong heal over time effect and mana shield for 12 seconds.

Note: Applies Depravity to up to six friendly targets, increasing dodge chance, crit chance, mag out, and phys out by 30%. Also applies Dark Exhortation to the caster, increasing haste by 10% and applying a strong HoT. All effects last 12 seconds. Also applies a 12 second mana shield.

Anathema

Description: Focus all your energy and unleash a massive burst of dark magic, dealing high damage. The air becomes charged with dark magic, decreasing your mana costs by 50% for 12 seconds.

Note: Deals 305% spell damage to primary target and 235% spell damage to two secondary targets, and applies Ars Arcanum, decreasing all mana costs by 50%. All effects last 12 seconds.

Conclusion

Legion Revenants command a darkness far deeper than lesser Dark Casters, as members of the Legion’s most elite corps. This class annihilates swaths of enemies with its powerful AoE attacks, potent buffs for its allies, and crippling debuffs for its enemies. At its best, it increases the damage up to three enemies take from all sources by a whopping 105% using its rank 10 passive Infinita Nox-- reducing them down to nothing more than bones and ashes. When fighting weak monsters and other heroes, Legion Revenant can block fast yet weak incoming damage with its mana shield and retaliate against its attackers while remaining unscathed. 

Fox’s Footprints

This class performs at its peak with full wizard enhancements. Wizard enhancements will allow you to deal the most damage and heal the most with your HoT, allowing you to survive longer than using full luck.Any sort of damage boosting weapon with Spiral Carve or Mana Vamp Awe Enhancements will greatly improve the performance of this class.Very strong willpower will be necessary in order to obtain this class-- no need to go insane on your journey of showing the legion you have guts, take breaks on this long journey heroes.

Issue Update: Item Sellbacks

Sellback change for Treasure Chest Keys + Other Misc items

The programmer, bugs, and tester teams are currently investigating an exploit with Treasure Chest keys and other miscellaneous AdventureCoin items. While they dig into the engine to address this, we have temporarily removed the ability to sell back your Treasure Chest Keys. AC consumable items (like MEAT and Energy Drinks) have temporarily been removed from their shops.

Shadows of War: Teja the Pirate Queen

Quest to Ally with the Pirate Queen

The War of Shadows is far from over. Malgor, the leader of the ShadowFlame Army, brought an army to your world. He said YOU were responsible for the Queen of Monsters's death. He sees you as a threat, and was ready to imprison you if you did not agree to help him. All of these facts point to one thing... Shadowlord Malgor cannot be trusted. 

After all of the chaos the Queen of Monsters wreaked, it is clear that you cannot sit back and deal with smaller threats to the world. That means we need to start gathering two things NOW: allies and power.

You have already added Varga, Goddess of War, to your party, and reawakened a small part of your power again. But you will need to hone it further before you will be able to reach all of the people we need. Some of them are quite far from us in time, or in space, or both.

This week, we start close to home. Varga has tasked you with a quest: to recruit Teja, the Pirate Queen of the southern seas. 

• She is known for being fearless, and loyal to her crew.
• She put out her own eye, and had it alchemically transformed into an enchanted gemstone orb that turns people to stone.
• Malgor is wants her to be his ally... which means there must be a VERY good reason to prevent that.

This week, you'll need to fight to earn the trust of Teja the Pirate Queen and avoid becoming HER captive.

BlackSea Booty

Battle through tonight's story update in Granite Cove to unlock the pieces of the BlackSea Pirate, BlackSea Captain, and BloodSea Captain armor sets!

Platinum Item of Donated Awesomeness

We've gotten a lot of really positive feedback after introducing the free spins... but also a lot of you who wanted 1) a way to make sure you got an Item of Donated Awesomeness and 2) kept spinning in a quest to get the Epic Item of Donated Awesomeness to drop from the Wheel... and then not didn't get it.

That's why we introduced the Platinum Item of Donated Awesomeness. This item is available from the Doom Merge Shop, so even if you don't receive the EIoDA as a bonus prize, you can save up your Treasure Potions and get the PIoDA.

Important Points

• The PIoDA will be a Wheel of Doom merge shop exclusive. 
• Cost: 1,000 Treasure Potions. 
• You can get both the EIoDA (from the Wheel) and the PIoDA (from the merge shop)
• The PIoDA currently stacks up to x5. We are currently planning to raise the cap later this year.

At a cost of 1,000 Treasure Potions, that means a member who ONLY uses their one free spin per day/week will need to log in every day for about 2.5 years to get it... but they WILL get it eventually.

Infernal Shadow Lord set changes

Earlier this year, we added the Infernal Shadow Lord armor set into the Wheel of Doom. Due to an issue with the armor's set-up, duplicate versions of it were dropping for a short time. We have removed the entire set from the Wheel of Doom. It is now only available through the Wheel of Doom merge shop.

Tonight: A Game of Groans

Arena Battles are Coming...

This weekend, we celebrate Mother's Day... and the next episode of Game of Thrones. The Mother of Dragons (Danaerys) is about to unleash a reign of fire on an icy world. We're doing our part to combat the cold by bringing you a host of cool farming items, parody gear, and new battles to keep your blade (and wits) sharp.

This weekend, log in and head to /snowmore, a region deep in the Northlands. Find Wher'ya Dark, an Assassin of the Silent Sisterhood. She waits for you with more information about the BlightStalkers, a race of magical, icy creatures that can twist any warm-blooded animal (or human) into a mindless fright. Battle captive 'stalkers and their frights inside the arena to earn faction house banners, pets, and other icy gear.

Faction House Banners

In the Northlands (like much of the rest of Lore), everyone belongs to a family, a clan, a house, or a guild, and shows their allegiance with house banners. It pays to surround yourself with people you can trust. If you’d like to represent your faction, slay the monsters in the arena, and Wher'ya will help you craft your own.

Featured Gear Shop: BlightSlayer + Mother's Day

The BlightSlayer armor set will keep you warm in the winter, safe in battle, and looking way cooler than the hero next to you as you chill in Yulgar's Inn swapping victory stories. Find all the set pieces in your Featured Gear Shop until May 31st.

Tier 2 Dark Caster Class: Member-only Test

Back in March, we announced a Tier 2 version of the Dark Caster Class. Since then, Pisces and the class balancec team have been hard at work crafting a class worthy of the Undead Legion (among all of their other balance, testing, and planning contributions). The Legion Revenant Class is dark, powerful, and fit for the Legion's most loyal and mighty warriors.

Reens, Cemaros and the AQW Bug Hunter team are busy squashing the bugs you submit each week to the Bug Tracker at www.Artix.com/bugs.

Please do not send non-release bugs on Twitter.  They will get lost.  Make sure you send bug report forms!

Check back weekly to see if the bug you reported has been addressed.  Please remember that not all bugs are "easy fixes" so some reported and confirmed bugs from each week may not be on the fixed list as they will require more time or a different person to fix them.

Bug Fixes:

• Removed random spawns from /moonyardb.
• Fixed the drops off the Hollow Wraiths for the quest ‘A Gesture Of Evil’.
• Lightning Strikes added to Garek’s Seasonal Shop

Art Fixes:

• Shadow Void Shogun helms darkened to match the armour.

Extras:

The Chromium Canister and Titanium Trove have been removed from the Book of Lore shops.  After considering player feedback, we have decided to get these items out of the free items shop. If you have the badge for either the Void ChronoKnight Set or the Northlands Royalty set, you can now see new buttons with Vinara in /curio.  These buttons will allow you to purchase the Chromium Canister or the Titanium Trove for 6,000 ACs and allow you access to the tier 2 shops.

Account Spam Update

We are working on a fix for this issue

Over the last few weeks, some of you may have received random whispers from accounts with strange usernames, or seen odd messages in chat.

Our programmers, security testers, and bug hunters have already been hard at work releasing fixes (which stopped the issue for a time), but are now putting together and testing additional fixes as new spam accounts are created.

Programmers are working on deeper, fuller changes to the server, with a current ETA for launch tomorrow.

In the short-term, if you see these accounts in-game, please /ignore and report them and an admin will remove them.

The War for the Queen of Monsters is NOT over

Last week, we faced Malgor the ShadowLord's army as we fought to storm the Queen of Monsters' castle. What happened after the war was explosive. And if you have been following the Queen's Saga, very unexpected. Now, after refusing to ally with the ShadowLord, we face an eternity imprisoned by his shadows... unless we can escape!

This weekend, battle alongside Varga the WarFury as you attempt to escape Malgor's army and his newly-conquered castle.

... Who is Varga, the WarFury?

She is Varga, Goddess of War.* Though this is the first time we have met her, she has known your hero since you they were born. Your drive to fight in defense of Lore is a gift from her... indeed, all of this world’s greatest warriors have felt her divine inspiration.

The Queen's Finale is only the beginning 

This war will change the course of history, and the fate of our world. And you. As the Eternal Dragon of Time, you hold a greater power than most of the beings in this Universe. There are others out there with powers to match yours, and you will encounter some of them over the course of this saga. But not today.
