Dragon of Time Class Skills

Your Eternal Destiny (Re)Revealed!

AdventureQuest Worlds turns 12 this year, and our anniversary celebration begins October 1s with our 12th Upholder promotiont! Then, return this Friday, October 2nd as we start our month of gifts, events, and more with the return of our Mogloween hub town and... a new Tier 2 class -- the Dragon of Time!

How to Unlock the Class

As the embodiment of time itself, you’ll be able to wield the power of bending, tearing, and twisting destiny and space to your bidding. To unlock the class, talk to Kro’nar in /yulgar to begin their quests. Each quest will reward pieces of the Dragon of Time set with the 9th quest rewarding the class.

Class requirements

Complete the 13 lords of chaos saga
Complete all of Kro'nar's class quests
Have the Blade of Awe
Level 75+

Quest level requirements

1st + 2nd quest: open to all
3rd + 4th quest: requires level 31
5th quest: requires level 60
6th quest: requires Darkon's receipt
7th quest: requires Tower of Doom9 completion
9th quest: requires level 75, Blade of Awe, Tower of Doom10, 13th Lord of Chaos Saga

You'll need to have the 13 Lords of Chaos saga completed to unlock the awesome power of the Dragon of Time Class, but all heroes can begin Kro'nar's quests to collect the armor set pieces.

The quests will get progressively harder as you advance down the chain, and the class should be a handy (or claw-y) addition to any high-levelled player’s kit! The quests will have you travelling all over Lore to experience the many destinies of different creatures, and learning about the ultimate fate of the Eternal Dragon of Time.

With a heavier focus on the difficulty of certain fights instead of simply throwing a huge number of monsters at you, the class should be faster to obtain than equivalents. A word of advice -- crossing timelines and finding other players to aid you may prove to be very beneficial!

Talk Like a Pirate Day Continues

/join pirates to find a treasure-load of new farming gear, including our newest high-level 0 AC farming set... the Celestial Pirate Commander!

Heroes who've reached level 80 or higher can complete the seasonal Sailor of the Celestial Skies quest to choose a piece of the 0 AC set. Keep questing until you've collected the entire set. Unlock a character page badge upon first quest completion. ALL heroes can quest to unlock the pieces of the seasonal, 0 AC Aqumer armor sets in the /pirates map!

Last Chance for Celestial Naval Commander

Available every year from September 1st - 30th

This weekend is your last chance to unlock our September Seasonal Set - the Celestial Naval Commander. The set leaves at 11:59 PM EST on Monday and won't return until 2020. Buy the full pack + get an exclusive character page badge or get individual pieces from Garek's shop in Battleon.

Remember to keep your wings tightly furled when on deck to avoid getting tangled in the lines. But if the ship starts to sink, you'll be GLAD to have them as you fly to safety!

There are two ways to get the gear:

1) Total package: Buy the entire set directly through the website for $9.99 USD

2) Individually: Buy each of the individual pieces from Garek the Traveling Gear Merchant in Battleon.

The total cost to buy all of the gear individually is 4,000 ACs, so getting all the gear from the Celestial Naval Commander pack is a pretty sweet deal (you save 2,000 ACs).

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as the monthly upgrade bonus?

No, this is a different set. Just like the Flame Dragon Warrior, you can buy the entire set for one price on our site. You can ALSO buy the individual pieces in-game.

This set will return EVERY September, so if you can't get it now, you'll have another chance in 2020, 2021, 2022, etc.

Think of this like a carousel of gear. Every January, we'll have the January set. Every February, we'll feature the February set. The monthly upgrade bonuses will be separate and distinct bonuses.

If this isn't the monthly upgrade bonus, what IS the bonus in September?

The next upgrade bonus releases on September 6th, and will be the Galactic + Solar Pirate Commanders.

What if I just want ONE of the items?

You're in luck! Talk to Garek in Battleon. He'll be selling the individual pieces of each month's sets.

Where do I get my gear if I buy the full set through the website?

You'll find it in your Book of Lore.

If you are ALREADY an upgraded Legend and your Membership expires AFTER November 2nd, 2020 then you are already a 12th Upholder. On October 1st, you'll automatically unlock your new badge, 12 Upholder StarSwords, and gear. Congratulations!

We love showcasing work by our talented community artists, and this month, we're featuring logos and in-game rewards designed by AQW Community artist, Ferozakh! When we asked him to tell us how he found AdventureQuest Worlds, this is the story he told...

"I started playing AQ when I was like 10, and then MechQuest. I started playing the original AQ initially due to peer pressure. Then, after my final exams in my primary school in 2008, I started creating my AQW account via an ad.

However, I started playing in February 2009, due to the difficulty in logging in that time.
I started drawing my personal armor when I was 11. Then when I played the game, I started drawing doodles of Nation sets in 2011, as they were my favourite that year.

At the time, I didn’t have much creativity in making sinister-looking art (I drew the concept art of the ArchFiend DoomLord for the first time ever, though it was lost.).

After that, I just drew AQW art, all over, even in my lessons... I was once even reprimanded by my tutor for drawing all over my worksheet.

This December will be my character's 10th anniversary!"

Shadows of Chaos X Talk Like a Pirate Day

Log in as we celebrate one of the popular holidays of the YARRRR! Talk Like a Pirate Day returns AND we continue our Shadows of Chaos Saga main storyline. Make sure you've battled through last week's update, where Drakath faces humiliation, betrayal, and vows to get REVENGE on ShadowLord Malgor.
